Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Fieldbook ("we", "us", "our"). They apply when you use the Fieldbook HAM radio logging application and this website. When you make an account, you agree to these Terms.

Who can use Fieldbook

To make an account, you must be 16 years old or older, or of the age of digital consent in your country. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account.

If we find that an account belongs to a person who is younger than this, we will terminate the account. We will also delete all the data related to it.

If you are a parent or guardian, and you think that your child has an account, send an email to hello@jackcoble.dev. We will terminate the account and delete all the data related to it.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. You must have a valid email address for account recovery and important notices.

If you think that a person got unauthorised access to your account, tell us immediately at hello@jackcoble.dev.

Your content

Your logbooks and contacts stay your property. We do not sell your content.

When you use Fieldbook, you give us a limited licence to keep, sync and back up your content. We use this licence only to supply the service to you.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Use Fieldbook for illegal purposes.
• Keep or share content in Fieldbook if you do not have the right to it.
• Try to disrupt or overload the service, or to get unauthorised access to it.
• Use third-party lookups (for example, QRZ.com) more than fair, personal use permits.
• Resell the service or use it commercially without our permission.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that do not obey these rules.

Plans and pricing

Fieldbook has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Our payment processor, Paddle, bills the Pro plan monthly or yearly.

We can add or change prices in the future. If we do, we will tell you a reasonable time before the change applies to you.

Our Refund Terms apply to refunds and cancellations.

Third-party services

The terms of each provider apply to the third-party services that Fieldbook uses, such as QRZ.com lookups. If you connect your own QRZ.com account, you can disconnect it at any time in Settings.

Service availability

We supply Fieldbook "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will operate without interruptions or errors. Features can change over time. But the app is designed to continue to operate offline when our servers are not available.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We supply Fieldbook without warranties of any type, as is. To the extent that the law permits, we accept no liability for loss or damage that results from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or with an email to hello@jackcoble.dev.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or put the integrity of the service at risk.

Changes to these Terms

We can update these Terms when Fieldbook changes. If you continue to use Fieldbook after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

The laws of England and Wales govern these Terms.
